A quick update on the initial media attention I received after my crowning.

I was featured in my local newspaper, the Alliston Herald; the article was written by a fellow student, Kelsey, which put me at ease as it was my first interview. You can find the article here.

I was then interviewed on the radio for a local station in Barrie, B101. I met with Chris Liedtke who was so enthusiastic and outgoing, he made the experience a blast! You can listen to a recording of the interview here, (I still find it strange to listen to my own voice).

Lastly, I appeared on the show ‘Daytime’ for Rogers TV in Barrie with the lovely Miss Teen Southwestern Ontario World 2013, Tricia. Check out her blog if you get the chance! Being on television was definitely the most nerve-wracking experience out of the three but it went very well. Unfortunately, I am not able to link this and I was not able to watch it either, as I do not have Rogers.

Thank you for reading!
